According to a state government spokeswoman, the Uttar Pradesh government has chosen to create a smartphone application that would serve as a virtual database for 60,000 students and staff from over 400 aided schools around the state.
The software, which includes geotagging and a module for instructors, will save information such as students' and staff members' dates of birth, gender, cellphone number, residence, family history, social and financial facts, Aadhaar information, and academic records.
The social welfare department has delegated responsibility for its creation to Uttar Pradesh Electronics Corporation Limited (UPELC), according to the spokesman, and the latter has solicited applications through an e-tender to pick a business for the app's development.
The app will be built in accordance with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's aim for improving the state's education system.
The selected agency must first submit a thorough project analysis based on comments from department authorities. Next, data from assisted schools will be gathered, collated, and updated in accordance with the system requirement specification.
Based on this, the project and thorough reports will be developed, opening the path for app development.
Registration module and MIS
The full project report, which is based on the system requirement specification, will lead the construction of the app and online modules, including a registration module and a management information system (MIS). The registration module will be organized into three sections: student registration, staff registration, and school (infrastructure) registration.
Advanced security features
The software will have extensive security features such as login access to over 400 aided schools, directory login (admin), ID password management, user role definition and permission access, listing, user-friendly accessibility and analytics, and scaling capacity.
In addition, annual maintenance and three days of formal staff training will be offered in accordance with Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) standards.
