Al Meera and Qatar Islamic Bank Introduce a Co-branded Credit Card

A new QIB Al Meera co-branded credit card has been introduced by Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), the country's top digital bank, in collaboration with Al Meera Consumer Goods Company.

The new credit card reaffirms QIB's dedication to customer-focused banking and innovation. In addition to offering cardholders exclusive benefits, the new co-branded credit card makes daily shopping more convenient.

With every purchase made with the QIB Al Meera Credit Card, users can accrue Meera Rewards points that can be exchanged for cash at any Al Meera location. Every transaction allows cardholders to accrue Meera Rewards Points, which are worth one point for every QAR 5 ($1.37) spent locally, one point for every QAR 4 ($1.1) spent abroad, and one point for every QAR 2 ($0.55) spent at Al Meera, either online or in-store.

During the exclusive launch offer, which is valid until May 31, new cardholders will receive 20,000 Meera rewards welcome points instead of 10,000 points if they spend QAR 20,000 ($5,479.4) during the first three months.

Additional perks include priority checkout counters for QIB Al Meera cardholders, an extended three-year validity period for Meera Rewards points, and free delivery on online orders over QAR 100 ($27.4).

The QIB Al Meera Credit Card, a Visa Platinum Credit Card, offers exclusive lifestyle benefits that elevate the shopping experience. Cardholders will benefit from free access to 25 airport lounges across the globe, discounts on lodging, dining, and travel, as well as free "Buy 1 Get 1" My Book offers via the QIB Mobile App.

Eligible customers can receive their cards instantly using the QIB Mobile App. Once approved, cardholders can pick up their new Credit Card at the C-Ring Service Center or have it delivered by Q-Post. The digital version of the credit card will be instantly available on the QIB Mobile App, allowing cardholders to use it for online transactions and add it to their digital wallet for use at physical locations.
