Apple has confirmed that its suite of artificial intelligence features known as "Apple Intelligence" will be available in India with localized language support in April, most likely as part of the iOS 18.4 update for iPhones. During the company's most recent quarterly earnings call, CEO Tim Cook stated that Apple Intelligence will support more languages, including localized English for India.

"We are working hard to push Apple Intelligence even further. In April, we're bringing Apple Intelligence to more languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and simplified Chinese, as well as localized English to Singapore and India," Cook said during Apple's first-quarter earnings call.

There are plans to open Apple stores in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, and Delhi-NCR. These will be added to the two current locations, which opened in April 2023 in Mumbai's BKC and Delhi's Saket.

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Kevan Parekh talked about Apple's enterprise presence in India and said the company has observed high demand in the area. To encourage innovation, Zomato, a well-known food ordering and delivery service in India, has, for instance, given thousands of Macs to its employees.
