boAt, a prominent audio and wearable tech company, has partnered with Antara Senior Care, a senior care initiative under the Max Group, to jointly develop technology solutions to improve the lives of older people.
The partnership will see boAt design and produce devices specially for seniors with fall detection, emergency alerts, location tracking, and real-time monitoring of heart rate, SpO2, and sleep. These solutions would also cater to the needs of seniors with hearing impairment while keeping accessibility and comfort. Seniors' health and wellness can be monitored remotely by family members and caregivers.
Antara's AGEasy platform, which is aimed at tackling health issues like joint pain, respiratory rehabilitation, and fall-risk management, will use boAt's technology. This collaboration is intended to synergize Antara's senior care know-how with boAt's technology innovation to provide intuitive and trustworthy solutions.
Sameer Mehta, the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of boAt, highlighted that the partnership reflects the commitment to using technology for real change. Ishaan Khanna, the CEO of Antara Assisted Care Services, underlined the intention of driving technology so that seniors may attain a safer and more independent living.
The partnership comes at a time when India's aging population is surging rapidly, increasing demand for technology in the realm of seniors. Together, both companies are willing to address the peculiar requirements of seniors, thereby enhancing their safety, health, and connectivity. The Antara Senior Care Company was established in 2013 and operates senior living residences and assisted care services such as Care Homes, Care at Home, and AGEasy.
On the other hand, boAt, a brand under Imagine Marketing Limited, is known for audio and wearable products and has a huge footprint in the Indian market. A partnership between boAt and Antara holds the resolve to radically change senior care in India with solutions that enhance the lives of older adults and provide peace of mind for their families.
