At the Abu Dhabi Customs headquarters, Director-General Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori spoke with Lawrence Ng, CEO of the Singapore-based consulting firm CrimsonLogic, about methods to improve collaboration.
The main focus of the discussion was strengthening Abu Dhabi Customs' collaboration with CrimsonLogic to implement the Integrated Customs Operations System, which automates and streamlines customs and trade procedures by leveraging artificial intelligence and sophisticated predictive analytics.
The project's role to enhancing Abu Dhabi Customs' technology capabilities and fortifying its digital ecosystem was emphasized during the discussion. The system's integrated infrastructure guarantees optimal operational efficiency and round-the-clock customs services.According to the announcement, it will easily interface with blockchain systems, projects like "Invisible Customs," and other digital service platforms, such as ATLP and the Abu Dhabi Government Services platform "TAMM."
Highlighting important aspects of the Integrated Customs Operations System, Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori and Lawrence Ng went over the project's implementation phases and schedule. These consist of an improved financial revenue system that is in line with regulatory standards and centralized, interactive performance monitoring.
The statement claims that the system is made to lower operating expenses, increase productivity, enhance customer satisfaction, and promote a sustainable corporate environment. With the use of sophisticated data insights and analytics, it will also improve decision-making.
In keeping with international best practices in customs operations, it also facilitates the re-engineering and governance of customs procedures, improves cooperation between internal and external stakeholders, and guarantees strong access control for different user types.
