Emirates Post, the UAE's official postal services provider and 7X postal service operator, has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with FedEx, the world's largest express shipping firm.

The agreement seeks to provide FedEx's top world-class international services at postal branches, aligning with Emirates Post's new strategy of expanding international shipping services and providing its clients with a comprehensive range of services.

Ayoub Ahli, general manager of Emirates Post, and Nitin Tatiwala, vice president of Marketing and Air Network for FedEx Middle East, Indian Subcontinent, and Africa (MEISA), signed the MoU during a ceremony at the 7X Group's headquarters in Dubai.

Representatives from both companies attended the signing event, which outlined a complete business plan for introducing FedEx services to postal outlets beginning in the second quarter of 2025.

Ayoub Ahli stated, "Emirates Post's relationship with FedEx represents our broader ambition of transforming our branches into vibrant hubs that provide a wide range of services to the UAE population. This strategy also makes it easier to find creative, customer-focused solutions that meet the changing demands of both individuals and enterprises. Furthermore, by expanding our international capabilities, we seek to strengthen the branches' reputation as a reliable pillar of society, while also improving connectivity and strengthening communities around the UAE."

The agreement enables both companies to improve customer experience by providing a variety of services in response to varied market demands, while also keeping up with the dynamic changes affecting the postal and courier services sector.
