HCLTech Establishes a Global Delivery Center in Patna, Bihar

Leading international IT company HCL Technologies opened a new Global Delivery Center in Patna. This center, which will open in the Udyog Bhawan Complex, will be the company's first location in the state of Bihar. It will serve clients in the semiconductor and hi-tech industries by offering IT and engineering services.

Two distinguished guests graced the launch ceremony: Shri Santosh Kumar Suman, the Hon'ble Minister of Information Technology for the Government of Bihar, and Shri Nitish Mishra, the Hon'ble Minister of Industries. Other current officials were Shri Abhay Kumar Singh, Secretary of the Department of Information Technology, and Shri Sandeep Poundrik, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar, Department of Industries. Rahul Singh, the Chief Operating Officer of Corporate Functions at HCLTech, and Prateek Aggarwal, the Chief Financial Officer, were prominent attendees at this historic occasion.

In addition to being a promise from HCLTech to expand its operations in India, the center will make use of Bihar's abundant talent pool. Additionally, it will house centers of excellence and specialized labs, advancing HCLTech's technology innovation projects. Nitish Mishra went on to say that this HCLTech Investment would only serve as a catalyst for the IT sector in Bihar if it generated a significant amount of job opportunities and encouraged industry investment. According to Mr. Prateek Aggarwal, the center's contribution to the state's technological ecosystem, local talent development, and expanding HCLTech's capacity for digital transformation globally.
