Huawei and Taameer signed a strategic partnership to build residential units with state-of-the-art fiber optic communication technologies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In the collaboration, Huawei will apply its technical expertise along with the latest FTTR solution so that Taameer's next residential projects possess advanced infrastructure capable of supporting future needs. The project will also address bandwidth requirements stemming from smart homes and automation systems, allowing smooth integration with future communication technologies.
It's not just about the new near-future digital transformation projects but also about reinforcing the high-speed internet infrastructure across the country through the '10 Gigabit Community' project. And therein lies the beauty of the tie-up, which is in tune with the different enabling aspects of Saudi Vision 2030.
The Huawei FTTR service provides an important solution with modern infra to address these requirements as demand for high bandwidth continually grows to support advanced applications such as streaming and online gaming. To guarantee stable, high-speed wireless connectivity and provide seamless internet services across all connected devices, this technology uses fiber optic cables in all rooms within complex residential units.
“This collaboration with Huawei signifies a significant stride for Taameer as we endeavor to establish novel benchmarks for contemporary living standards in the Kingdom. At Taameer, our commitment lies in crafting the most sophisticated living experiences, and this partnership empowers us to honor that pledge. By integrating Huawei’s advanced FTTR technology, we are not only preparing our residential units for the future but also contributing to the comprehensive digital transformation objectives of the Kingdom in consonance with Vision 2030. It’s not just about connectivity; it’s about paving the way for a smarter and more interconnected future in Saudi Arabia.” remarks Yasser Al Majed, CEO of Taameer.
The joint venture aims to manifest the commitment of all parties toward innovation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This instance will set the standard for residential connectivity and inspire the further adoption of FTTR technology, ultimately establishing a future of advanced interconnectivity and intelligence for the Kingdom.
“We are glad to support the establishment of a fellow connected smart society," declares Simone Zuccio, Vice President of Huawei Saudi Arabia. Taameer's commitment is exemplified through its partnership with, and investment in, FTTR solutions under the 'Taameer Vision' initiative, which is working toward developing complete residential communities intended to adapt to future requirements. This initiative is part of the much larger '10 Giga Community' mission, aligning with the Kingdom's efforts and going a step further to set a standard for property developers in the region. Taameer's focus is to craft award-winning living experiences, utilizing Huawei's new generation of communications and information technology infrastructure. This strategic move indeed plays a pivotal role in propelling the digital economy in Saudi Arabia.
By 2035 the companies will partner to install FTTR for more than 5,000 residential units. To assist in achieving the "10 Gigabit Community" initiative and many of the ambitious objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, Taameer's forward-thinking strategy establishes them as a leader in smart real estate development, and Huawei's dedication to creating a digitally connected society is evident in this partnership.
