After a more than 2.5-year wait, Infosys sent over 1,000 offer letters to campus hires in 2022, according to IT employee union Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate. The organization is hiring System Engineers, with an expected start date of October 7, 2024. These software professionals were first offered positions at Infosys in 2022.

"Every offer we make will result in someone joining the firm. We modified certain dates, but everyone will join Infosys, and that strategy will not change," he added

This comes after Infosys CEO Salil Parekh stated that the business will finalize offers made to new employees before allowing them to join.

Harpreet Singh Saluja, President of NITES, stated, "These young engineers, who have been waiting for over two years, now have a guaranteed joining date of October 7, 2024. This is a big victory for NITES and all of the students who persevered in the face of uncertainty and delays. However, we stay cautious... if Infosys fails to fulfill this agreement and breaks the joining date, we would not hesitate to arrange a demonstration directly in front of the Infosys building.
