In an attempt to strengthen Dubai's role as a major international center for civil aviation and to expand drone delivery services, the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) and Keeta Drones have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

In accordance with local laws, regulations, and international standards, this Memorandum of Understanding focuses on cooperation in drone-based delivery, with an emphasis on attaining the greatest levels of safety and security in Dubai's sky.

Three main areas will be the focus of the collaboration's evaluation and approval of drone operation zones:

Evaluating the infrastructure needed in defined drone zones

Examining the airspace specifications for these areas

Assessing the security and safety requirements for drone delivery operations in Dubai that are both efficient and secure.

"The Authority works to raise the Emirate of Dubai's airspace security and safety standards while creating a welcoming and exciting business climate that draws in international capital. Making a difference and leaving a lasting impression on the aviation industry's future is our goal," Lengawi continued.

"This partnership with DCAA marks a long-term collaboration between both parties," stated Dr. Yinian Mao, Chairman of Keeta Drones. By building routes throughout Dubai, providing additional services, and investigating a variety of new projects, Keeta Drones will be able to accelerate the growth of its operations with DCAA's assistance. Keeta Drones will follow the necessary safety regulations during this procedure and collaborate with the DCAA to make Dubai one of the most technologically sophisticated cities for smart mobility."
