Nestle India said on Monday that Manish Tiwary has been appointed as the company's Managing Director, succeeding Suresh Narayanan, who will retire in July next year.
According to a regulatory filing, Tiwary, who formerly served as Amazon India's national manager, has been named Managing Director of Nestle India, beginning August 1, 2025.
Narayanan will retire as Nestle India's Chairman and Managing Director on July 31, 2025, after 26 years of service, the company said.
The nominations were received from Nestle SA, the Swiss parent company. However, "the proposal is subject to necessary approval," Nestle India stated.
Tiwary is the Director of Amazon Digital Services and More Consumer Brand. According to the announcement, he will step down as director on October 30, 2024.
Tiwary, an IIM Bangalore alumni, has over three decades of expertise managing large-scale operations and strategic initiatives in the e-commerce and consumer products industries.
He joined Amazon in 2016 after working for Unilever, an Anglo-Dutch FMCG powerhouse, for 20 years.
