Mastercard and Doha Bank Start Free International Transfers

Doha Bank and Mastercard, the payments industry's leading technology company, have announced a new initiative that allows users to conduct free international money transfers through the bank's app.

This follows Doha Bank's successful rollout of new money transfer capabilities based on Mastercard Move. The initiative, announced during Web Summit Qatar 2025, intends to promote the adoption of international transfer services by eliminating transaction costs for customers. This campaign is scheduled to run for six months.

"With this new initiative, we are thrilled to deepen our relationship with Mastercard," said Dimitrios Kokosioulis, Deputy CEO of Doha Bank. "We intend to give our customers an even better experience with this new service by offering free international transfers."
