Bhavish Aggarwal-led Ola Electric on Friday announced launch of S1 X 4kWh model with a long range of 190 km at a price of Rs 1,09,999 and deliveries will commence from April 2024 onwards. The company has also announced an industry-first extended battery warranty of 8 years or up to 80,000 km across all its products, addressing customer concerns about battery health and eliminating the biggest barrier to the EV adoption.

With a top speed of 90 km/h and an IDC range of 190 kilometers, the new S1 X 4kWh can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.3 seconds. The scooter's potent 6kW motor provides exceptional riding quality and lightning-fast speed. Customers with varying range requirements can choose from the competitively priced S1 X 4 kWh variant, which is comparable to ICE vehicles. Red Velocity, Midnight, Vogue, Stellar, Funk, Porcelain White, and Liquid Silver are the available colors for the S1 X.
Starting on Friday, the whole S1 X range - 4kWh, 3kWh, and 2kWh - will be sold for Rs 1,09,999, Rs 89,999, and Rs 79,999, respectively. By April 2024, the same will begin to be delivered.
Ola Electric also introduced the first free 8-year/80,000-kilometer extended battery guarantee in the industry for its whole product line. By doing this, the business has removed the largest obstacle to the adoption of electric vehicles by giving them a lifespan that is double that of ICE vehicles.
Customers can now choose an Add-on warranty in addition to the extended warranty, raising the maximum number of kilometers they can travel to 125,000. The nominal starting price of Rs 4,999 allowed for the availability of the add-on warranty. Ola Electric has also revealed intentions to increase the number of service centers in its network by 50%, from the current 414 to 600 by April 2024.
Furthermore, the business has declared its intention to quickly expand its fast-charging network to 10,000 locations by the end of the following quarter. Additionally, the company has released a 3KW portable rapid charger accessory, which retails for RS 29,999. There are now six scooters available from Ola Electric. The company's flagship scooter, the S1 Pro (2nd Generation), costs INR 1,47,499, while the S1 Air is priced at INR 1,19,999. S1 X+, S1 X (4kWh), S1 X (3kWh), and S1 X (3Kwh) are the four S1X models available to meet the needs of riders with varying preferences. Prices for the S1 X+ start at Rs 99,999.
