Omani-Saudi Trade and Economic Ties are Thriving, According to the Minister

Qais bin Mohammad Al-Yousef, Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, has emphasized the significant expansion of trade and economic links between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This expansion underscores the two countries' strong brotherly and historical links, particularly in light of Saudi Vision 2030 and Oman's Vision 2040.

During a news conference hosted by the Omani Ministry of Information under the theme "Oman and the World," Al-Yousef explained that joint projects reflect efforts to strengthen economic cooperation between the two brotherly nations, particularly in areas that support trade exchange, regional economic development, and expanding cooperation in fields such as energy, industry, technology, and tourism.

"The Saudi-Omani relationship is strong and affluent, with growth in many areas. We are optimistic that our continuing cooperation will result in strategic advantages that benefit both countries in the commercial, industrial, and tourism sectors," the minister stated.

He also stated that Saudi Arabia has achieved considerable progress in growing the industrial sector and modernizing the logistical infrastructure, which creates new opportunities for cooperative cooperation, particularly in sectors such as industrial integration and big project investment.

The minister highlighted Minister of Commerce Majid Al-Kassabi's recent visit to Oman, during which he discussed several initiatives that both sides hope to implement in the near future, as well as opportunities to launch joint projects between the private sectors of both countries, particularly in industrial fields.

Furthermore, Al-Yousef stated that the Saudi-Omani partnership serves as a model for Arab economic cooperation, and that the future contains numerous potential to enhance this cooperation at all levels.
