SaaS powered by AI is growing as 60% of businesses move toward AI integration

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing many sectors of the global economy and our daily lives, workplaces, and social interactions. Automation, data analysis, and decision-making are all being advanced by artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, such as machine learning and natural language processing.

According to a recent survey by international venture capital company Bessemer Venture Partners, about 60% of pure SaaS (software-as-a-service) businesses are changing to become SaaS providers with AI capabilities. The distinction between regular SaaS and AI-enabled software is becoming increasingly hazy, according to the report, with over half of enterprises identifying as AI-enabled SaaS and 34% as native SaaS.

According to Plus91Labs Partner Tushar Dhawan, AI in software transformation is the cornerstone that will mold the future and everything it entails.

AI helps with software architecture by taking important aspects like performance, security, and scalability into account. He said, "It can mimic the design process and provide insightful information on how each design choice affects overall program performance.

According to Visakh ST, CTO of Simplify3x, artificial intelligence simplifying standard software testing chores like requirement definition, code development, testing, and maintenance by providing clever solutions that save time and effort.

"AI gives developers deep insights into user behavior and demands, allowing them to design effective, customized software solutions that meet specific objectives. It improves the general efficacy and quality of software products while saving time and effort," according to Visakh.

Software is evolving from pre-programmed tools to adaptive, learning entities capable of autonomous problem-solving and decision-making, thanks to advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), according to Dr. Romel Bhattacharjee (PhD), Senior Analyst—Technology Research & Advisory, Aranca.

"Modern software does more than just automate jobs; it also senses needs, spots possibilities, and sometimes even comes up with unexpectedly inventive solutions. Algorithms that compose music, make movies, anticipate disease outbreaks with extraordinary precision, and even build whole new materials with previously unheard-of qualities are already giving us glimpses of this future," he said.

According to Ranjit Kumar, the CEO and founder of Salescode.ai, the power has moved from gathering and remembering data and information to using automation tools. "The ability to obtain knowledge more easily becomes the power. However, up until now, the ability to use knowledge intelligently has held more influence."

"Sales automation is already changing due to the exponential potential of AI, which can be used to augment people's competency and behavior with hyper-personalized coaching, advice, and action points, as well as automate transactions and increase data visibility. With AI, all the automation that has been developed over the past 30 years will be reimagined within the next three years," he continued.
