Samsung, the Korean smartphone maker, has released a new version of its mobile interface, One UI 7 beta, in select countries including India, with AI, security, and privacy improvements.

The updated version of One UI 7 will be available initially for Galaxy S24 series handsets and then for other Galaxy S Series devices. The business will progressively push out the upgrade to additional Galaxy smartphones.

"The official One UI 7 release will begin with upcoming Galaxy S series devices, featuring additional AI capabilities, including enhanced on-device AI functions, in the first quarter of 2025." The One UI 7 beta programme will be available for Galaxy S24 series handsets in Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the United States starting December 5, according to a Samsung announcement.

AI applications are regarded one of the most important use cases for high-speed 5G networks because they require a large amount of bandwidth to provide services.

According to the statement, One UI 7 has a feature that automatically transcribes recorded calls in 20 languages, including Hindi.

The new One UI will include security and privacy enhancements to prevent unauthorized access to devices, such as the ability to ban USB connections and detect attempts to install malware from unauthorized sources.
