TCS and Landis+Gyr Enter into a 3 Year Partnership to Provide Energy Efficiency Solutions

To provide cutting-edge energy efficiency solutions, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has teamed up with the Swiss energy management company Landis+Gyr. Clients will benefit from increased operational effectiveness, sustainability, and carbon emission reduction. 

In order to develop complete energy management solutions, the three-year partnership will integrate Landis+Gyr's metering and grid management technology with TCS' Clever Energy platform. These solutions will optimize energy use, satisfy sustainability objectives, and satisfy the complicated energy demands of commercial and industrial clients.

It is anticipated that the alliance will help utilities better integrate renewable energy, increase grid flexibility, and optimize current infrastructure while also assisting them in adjusting to growing regulatory constraints. Customers will be able to reduce emissions and increase energy efficiency with features including demand response, real-time energy optimization, and smart electric vehicle (EV) charging.

The partnership uses cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to build a sustainable ecosystem that is ready for the future.

The initiative is in line with recent Swiss laws that mandate businesses disclose their CO2 emissions and climate effect. Beyond ensuring legal compliance, TCS Clever Energy's features, such as real-time energy monitoring and AI-driven energy optimization, have already assisted organizations in more than ten countries in reducing emissions by 250,000 metric tonnes.
