Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced that it has signed a five-year agreement with Telenor Denmark (TnDK) to provide ITIS-managed services to manage the company's IT infrastructure from its European delivery center.

TnDK has more than 1.6 million users, making it the second-largest mobile operator in Denmark.

According to TCS, TnDK's IT infrastructure has been modernized over the past six years using its machine-first delivery model.

Louise Haurum, chief technology officer at Telenor Denmark, stated, "We are confident that TCS will continue to deliver the strategic insights and technological expertise required to navigate the complexities of our evolving business environment."

The partnership also ensures uninterrupted business continuity with no disruption to operations. TCS stated that it will use its experience managing TnDK's infrastructure to improve digital assets, including advanced automation solutions, which will help the mobile operator optimise its operations and improve user experiences.

"Using our proximity delivery center capabilities in Europe, we will support Telenor Denmark in achieving operational delivery excellence," said Akhilesh Tiwari, president of TCS's communications, media, and information services (CMI).

TCS announced last week that it has partnered with Bank of Bhutan to modernise its digital core in order to improve customer service. The technology company will implement its TCS BaNCS Global Banking Platform to assist the bank in optimizing operations and seamlessly integrating with the various public services within the country's digital ecosystem, according to the statement.
