Tech Mahindra and Google Cloud join hands to enhance GenAI application

By Consultants Review Team Thursday, 22 August 2024

Tech Mahindra and Google Cloud established a strategic agreement to increase the use of generative AI (GenAI) across multiple Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) organizations, with the goal of advancing digital transformation. This agreement is a key step toward integrating sophisticated AI and machine learning technologies into M&M's operations, which include engineering, supply chain management, pre-sales, and after-sales services.

Tech Mahindra will use AI and machine learning technology to improve critical parts of M&M's business operations. According to Rucha Nanavati, Chief Information Officer of Mahindra Group, "The collaboration with Google Cloud is pivotal in setting new benchmarks for customer experience through the application of AI-driven insights".

Google Cloud will help M&M discover abnormalities during production, increasing operational dependability, energy efficiency, and vehicle safety. These advances are likely to improve the overall client experience dramatically. According to Bikram Singh Bedi, Vice President and Country Managing Director at Google Cloud, "Our commitment is to provide M&M with secure cloud infrastructure and cutting-edge AI tools to support their digital transformation journey".

In addition to anomaly detection, M&M and Tech Mahindra will use Google Cloud AI technology to develop AI-powered apps for important business operations. As part of this project, Tech Mahindra will handle a variety of workloads, such as enterprise applications and simulator workloads.

Atul Soneja, Chief Operating Officer of Tech Mahindra, stressed that the relationship demonstrates the company's commitment to assisting firms in swiftly scaling. "Access to integrated data platforms and cloud-based solutions is crucial for driving innovation and deriving valuable insights", Soneja stated.

Tech Mahindra will open a delivery center in Guadalajara, Mexico, in 2023, focusing on Google Cloud-centric solutions to help customers modernize infrastructure and manage workloads using innovative Cloud Native and Open Source technologies.
