Zain KSA and Dell Technologies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to create new market opportunities and transform Saudi Arabia's cloud ecosystem.
Through the partnership, Zain, a top telecom and digital services provider, will be able to establish itself as the preferred supplier for companies seeking simple access to cloud-based solutions.
The memorandum was signed in Riyadh as part of LEAP 2025 by Fahad Alsahmah, Chief Business Officer at Zain KSA, and Mohamed Talaat, Vice President for Saudi Arabia and Egypt at Dell Technologies.
The agreement states that Zain will offer Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and Anything-as-a-Service (XaaS) models by utilizing Dell's technical know-how. Customers will have unmatched flexibility and choice in managing their cloud needs thanks to the innovative solution's open cloud architecture.
The automated platform will provide customers with an easy-to-use interface for onboarding, accessing, and managing invoicing. Dell's services, which range from defining technical requirements to building the entire framework, will allow Zain to meet the region's growing demand for automated cloud services.
According to Mohamed Talaat, Vice President for Saudi Arabia and Egypt at Dell Technologies, "Our deep understanding of cloud technologies and consultancy expertise help us provide Zain with an advanced cloud platform. We are eager to work with Zain to create, specify, and set up a thorough framework for these game-changing technological solutions. Our commitment to advancing innovation and digital transformation in Saudi Arabia is demonstrated by this partnership."
