Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal on August 28, reported the launch of Zomato for Enterprise (ZFE), a platform deliberated to clarify food expense management for businesses.
In a tweet, Goyal explained that ZFE is designed to gear the difficulties employees encounter when compensating business-related food expenses.
“A lot of Zomato orders placed by corporate employees are business-related and need to be reimbursed by the company. The reimbursement process is cumbersome and time-consuming,” Goyal said. “With ZFE, employees can simply bill their business orders directly to their employer, without having to pay.”
Goyal also mentioned that the platform authorizes businesses to add employees, set budgets, initiate the ordering rules, and oversee other aspects of food expenses.
“Over 100 top companies are already using ZFE. We are grateful for their feedback, which has helped shape this initiative,” Goyal said.
With this new service, Zomato aims to enlarge its reach from individual consumers into the corporate sector.
